Tip #2 – You can use regular sewing thread or acrylic thread to sew the felt. Always use a simple yarn of the same color as the felt for a precise result.
Tip #3 – Use the hidden dot applied beads to create the eyes of the characters (babies, toddlers, pets).
Tip #4 – You can use standard sewing needles for felt crafts. Simply choose the needle with the size and thickness that suits you best. Fine-tipped needles are better when piercing the felt.
Tip #5 – When sewing the felt, look for the “inside-out” side. This side seems rough or less smooth than the other side. Draw your “mirrored” shape patterns to show up correctly on the other side.
Tip #6 – There are lots of free felt patterns available online! At first, make a simple choice for you to go to felt training. Then, if you want more options, you can also check out my post on online felting courses.
Tip #7 – Use tighter paper to make your patterns. A good tip is to use milk cartons and juice boxes to create small molds; they are sturdy and durable. You can also use acetate sheet or cardboard, which meet very well.
Tip #8 – Use accordion pastes or binder aggregates to store large patterns. Transparent plastics do the organizing role very well with practicality. Simple photo albums for small patterns fill this need.
Tip #9 – Hot glue is the best glue for felt. However, to not damage the felt, use it very carefully and apply it slowly, paying attention to the fact that it dries quickly.

Tip #10 – After applying the hot glue, squeeze the felt tightly until the bond is completely set. You can use silicone glue to attach small details of the craft pieces to the felt.
Tip #11 – You can use any ballpoint pen to draw the felt. For drawing on dark felt, the red pencil is more indicated as highlighted. Other alternatives are silver and gold gel pens.
Tip #12 – Use as much of the felt as possible. Try to fit the patterns precisely, so you have as little waste as possible. But there are still many parts that can be used, such as eyes, bird wings, and hair. So keep it all to make details with small pieces.
Tip #13 – Use sharp scissors to cut the felt and reserve them for cutting the felt only. However, it is worth remembering that felt often dulls scissors quickly even with these precautions.

Tip #14 – When making felt crafts, use a quality filler, preferably silicone fiber. It will give your pieces a delicate and neat appearance.
Tip #15 – Always use embellishments like beads, pearls, or ribbons to finish your felt craft projects and complete your work. Also, make your felting craft with a lot of love and dedication, so the result will please everyone!
As you practice and improve, your felt crafts will become more beautiful and well-made. So practice as much as you can, make some fabulous pieces and present your work to your friends, family, and neighbors.
